Friends
Miss O spent the day playing with her friends ~ Addi, Caroline, Meredith and Isabelle. Olivia and Addi kept us on our toes with all of their running around and shananigans. Caroline was right behind them and Meredith and Isabelle will be on their heels before they know it! What a fun afternoon with friends! Can't wait to get together again...hopefully soon. Thanks, Al, for having us over!

Loves and Kisses
It's 8:00 pm and we're finishing up our bedtime routine, a little late tonight. Books have been read. Prayers have been said. And hugs and kisses have been given. Our little miss is peacefully tucked into bed and I turn to leave. As I shut out the light, I hear a little voice,
"More kiss, Mommy."
I quickly (and gladly) turn around and pick-up Olivia for more kisses, very dramatically given with a big "muahs" at the end of each one. And a big bear hug to finish it off.
When I lay her back down and tuck her in, I say, "I love you, monkey."
And she says, "Lub you, Mommy."
Oh, how I love this little girl. And, she loves me too!

Future Cover Girl...
...with her very own unique style! This morning I was attempting to get myself and Olivia ready at the same time. It was a challenge, to say the least! She LOVES "playing" in the bathroom! Lotion, nail polish, lipstick, you name it, she wants it! She was investigating my make-up bag as I was drying my hair and brushing my teeth. She quickly found her way to the mascara.
She very carefully and meticulously worked to apply her mascara just so. Although she didn't get much on her eyelashes, she was in the general vacinity. I just couldn't stop her and I, of course, had to grab the camera. It wasn't much to get it off, just a little eye make-up remover. It's a good lesson for me, she sure is watching her Mommy. Every move I make!

America's Biggest, America's Best...Water World
For this adventure to Water World we had a whole crew...Patti, Cindy, John, Morgan (John's friend), Nana, Olivia and me. As usual, Miss O was our little water baby. She explored, splashed, put her head under water and did the "alligator." She had such fun playing with Nana, Patti, Cindy and me. She also enjoyed all the food we hauled in, especially the oreos and chips. She did also eat watermelon, grapes, cheese and turkey!

Yay! A Turner Girl!
Kylie Diane Turner, daughter of my step-brother Matt and his wife, Kim, was born Tuesday, July 15th at 3:30 am. She was 8 lbs. and 19.5" long. She's a beauty and we can't wait to meet her. Olivia is especially excited to have a girl cousin on the Turner side of the family - now she won't be outnumbered anymore.

Happy 8th Anniversary!
It's hard to believe that Jason and I have been married for 8 years today. In some ways I feel like it was just yesterday that we said, "I do," and in other ways it seems like we've always been together. We have such a happy life together and I'm so thankful for him everyday.
Our little one makes our days even more happy and joyful. It is amazing to watch this little product of our love grow and change everyday. She is just the perfect combination of Jason and I and we couldn't love her more.

Bear Trap Ranch
My Mom and Pete have been just outside Colorado Springs at Bear Trap Ranch for a 4-week Missionary Training. Olivia, Patti and I went up to their "graduation" from training. The camp was beautiful and it was fun to see where they have spent so much of their time. Since Jas had to work, Patti came along and was my navigator. I was so thankful she was with me because the 8 miles of one-lane, winding, dirt road to the camp was a little intimadating for this city girl!
