Big Sister, Olivia

Olivia came to the hospital on Saturday morning and she absolutely adored her brother from the moment she first saw him! Here are some of her sweet comments, "I love you, Andrew!" ~ "He's adorable." ~ "Andrew is precious." ~ "Thank you, Mommy, for Andrew." She's going to be a wonderful, loving big sister.

Hospital Visitors

Throughout our stay at the hospital we were blessed with so many visitors! Thank you to everyone who came by to meet our new little addition - it helped the 3 1/2 days to pass quickly! We love you all and are so excited for you to see our little Andrew grow!

I'm looking extremely rough here after my surgery, but I just had document Jason and Patti in their scrubs. A big thank you to my wonderful husband and my dear friend. Jason was with me for Andrew's birth and then Patti came in to hold my hand during the rest of my surgery, so Jason could go with Andrew to the nursery for his first bath. Thank you so much - I love you both!

Meeting Mommy

We cried tears of joy when we heard Andrew's first little cries. It felt like an eternity while I waited for them to clean him up and bring him to me.

Just a quick meeting and then off to get bathed, weighed and measured. I had another hour of surgery and I couldn't wait to hold him in my arms!
