The week before Christmas Olivia began teething. By Christmas day, she had two little teeth poking out. Over the next couple of weeks they continued to come in. It has been difficult to get a picture of her showing off her cute little pearly whites, but I finally got one!

6th Month Check-up
We're a little behind schedule since Olivia will be seven months next week, but here she is getting checked out by her wonderful pediatrician Dr. Bucknam, author of Baby Wise, for her 6th month check-up. He was pleased with her growth and says she is doing great! She did have two more shots, which she obviously did not like at all. Her next appointment is in April and thankfully she does not get any shots then!

Moving on to Veggies...
For the past several weeks, we have tried, without much luck, to get Olivia to eat cereal. We tried a couple of different kinds, but she was just not having it! She would lock her jaw tight and refuse to eat or she would blow bubbles and spit the cereal everywhere! So, we decided to move on to a different kind of solid food...veggies. Our first try was squash and she loved it, although it looks like she's getting more on her face than in her mouth. She was even helping by holding onto the spoon. What a big girl!
Happy Girl!
Visit from Nana
We started out the new year with a visit from my mom. Nana came for a visit and to watch Olivia for four days while I began my elementary school library internship. Due to our crazy, snowy weather here in Colorado, I was only able to go to school two of the four days, so we had fun hanging out all together. Olivia loved spending time with Nana!
