A Night out on the Town

While Mama and Daddy were at

Jason and Holden's rehearsal dinner...

...Olivia played with Papa, Gigi and Auntie Tudi at the park in Tudor City right by Gigi's apartment.

We cruised down the Hudson River and up the East River and back around the island of Manhattan. While on our cruise, Olivia learned the word, "boat," and said it over and over again. We were able to see the Statue of Liberty, Battery Park, downtown and midtown. What a fun two hours!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

With the rain falling outside, we spent Friday afternoon in the Met with Papa. My favorite painting was "Sunflowers" by Monet. Olivia was a good girl, though she did get shushed a few times by the museum staff.

Olivia was asleep when we arrived in Times Square since it was about 11:00 pm, but then she woke up and posed for pictures and checked out all the lights and the people.

This is where the ball drops on New Year's Eve and here's the fam in front of Toys 'r Us.

Ouchie!

Yesterday afternoon, we were chatting out front with our neighbors and Olivia took a spill on the sidewalk. I heard a scream and looked over to see Olivia sprawled out on all fours and big alligator tears streaming down her face. I quickly realized that she had gotten her first skinned knee. By the time we got back inside she was her happy self again... Mommy, of course, had to photograph the evidence of the event. What a beautiful little girl she is, skinned knee and all!
