Father's Day! ♥

We spent Father's day with Dad, Kiki, Paul, Angie, Garret and Preston. It was a lovely day filled with exploring the "Real Pirates" exhibit at the DMNS and lunch at the Irish Hound. Happy Father's Day, Jas & Dad!

After breakfast in bed complete with Daylight donuts (cake with white frosting and sprinkles - delish!) and chocolate milk, we packed up for a day at the Denver Botanic Gardens. While the gardens are not quite in full bloom this time of year, the bulbs are out in all their beautiful glory. Especially my favorite, the tulips. We devoured a tasty picnic lunch and explored the gardens with Dad, Kiki and Honey. The kids especially loved racing around the grassy hill area. It was truly a perfect day! To complete the day, Jas took us to Sweet Tomatoes. My fave and quite possibly his least favorite.

Merry Christmas!

Our day was filled with presents and love and lots and lots of family.

Balboa Park

After Christmas shopping in the morning sans the kids, we spent a beautiful afternoon exploring Balboa Park with Papa and Grandma. We ended the day with Auntie Anna and Auntie Grace and families in Point Loma. It was a beautiful San Diego day!

♥ Andrew, I'm thankful for... your lopsided grin, ticklish giggles, natural ability to run and throw, joy in all things, hugs and love and sweetness, determination and boundless energy. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful baby boy and sweet little brother to Olivia. I cherish you.

On Thanksgiving and always, I am eternally grateful for these three individuals who make me smile and laugh and have blessed my life beyond measure.

Our attempt at a family picture Our annual Christmas time tradition is to go to Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo. This time we had a whole crew ~ Mom, Pete, Dad, Kiki, Paul, Angie, Garrett & Preston.

The last present of the night.... Christmas jammies. We bundled the kiddos up and got them ready for bed in their new pj's. And then we headed home to sleep so Santa could deliver goodies to our house!

I've returned to the blogging world....

I started this blog just after Olivia's first Thanksgiving. So, I thought it would be appropriate to begin blogging again now that Andrew celebrated his first Thanksgiving. It is hard to believe that 6 months have passed since my last post. I don't have any good excuses for seemingly abandoning my blog other than life... children, family, work, friends, Facebook =)... All of those things seem to have taken priority. To my non-Facebook friends, I am sorry that you have missed out on many milestones and events in our lives, especially Olivia and Andrew's. I restart this blog moving forward, but if I find some extra time (ha!) I will try to work backwards to document Andrew's first six months of life. Much love, Heather & family xoxox
