After sleeping in and grabbing some eats at the Corner Bakery, we checked out and drove over Confluence Park. We walked along the Platte River and through the Riverfront neighborhood. Before we headed home, we found the Governor's Mansion and walked around the neighborhood - very diverse area! We had such a wonderful weekend together, but we were missing our kiddos and couldn't wait to love on Monkey and Bubby!

Exploring Denver - Take 2
After sleeping in and grabbing some eats at the Corner Bakery, we checked out and drove over Confluence Park. We walked along the Platte River and through the Riverfront neighborhood. Before we headed home, we found the Governor's Mansion and walked around the neighborhood - very diverse area! I love your staycation anniversary idea! I may have to steal it - although we'll probably have to hold off until next year since we'll have a newborn for our anniversary this year.
