HP7.P2

I enjoyed every single moment.
I laughed.
I cried.
I gasped.
I hid my eyes in fear.
And I relished every minute with my Tara,
who I have seen all the movies with.
It is truly the end of an era.
I think I might start reading Book 1 again...

Book Club

Delicious food. Glasses of wine. Laughs. And dear, dear friends. I love Book Club.
(I especially love that these girls still accept me when I don't read the book. We have jokingly suggested that we call it "Supper Club." We missed you, Abby!)

Madame Mattie Silks

Patti studied and researched a famous Denver Madame, Mattie Silks, for one of her Colorado history courses at CU-Denver. For the Summer Soltice Red Light District Bar Tour in Lodo she played the part of Mattie Silks. It was an interesting night and we met some characters, but she played her role flawlessly and was the hit of the evening!

Birthday Fun!

Birthday Surprise... The Tavern for drinks and dinner. Surprised by my Spotts. Rockies game.
(Kids at Papa and Gigi's house! Stayed at the Hotel Manaco downtown.
Thank you, my love!)

Daylight!

To begin my birthday, Andrew and I met our Williams Family - Josh, Sara, Cameron and Eli - at Daylight Donuts. When we arrived, they completely surprised me with a donut "cupcake," lit candle and a Happy Birthday serenade. It was just the sweetest and made me feel so special. I just love this family and am so incredibly thankful to have them in our lives! ♥

8th Grade Continuation

"There are the families we are born into,
and there are the families
that we choose our circle of friends."

I spent a gloomy May day with my Sena family.
John's 8th grade continuation.
A 4 mile Sena hike.
Lunch at 3 Margaritas with Cindy.
And a movie - "Life as We Know It."

Thank you, Sena family, for a wonderful day!
Love you! ♥

U2!

Sena and I scored when Dad and Kiki had two extra tickets to the U2 concert at Invesco. I must admit that I'm not really a U2 fan, but I don't dislike them either. Sort of indifferent. Before the concert, I had to rack my brain to try to think of a U2 song... I did come up with one - "Beautiful Day." That being said. This was truly one of the most memorable nights of my life. The stage and audience were enormous. The energy was palpable. And Bono is quite possibly the most engaging performer. Evah. Even on the 5th level, he had me completely captivated. And I realized I did know quite a few U2 songs. It was an unforgettable night and I was able to experience it with three of my favorite people in the world. And consider me an official U2 fan now! ♥

The Brown Palace

For my final 32nd birthday celebration, I spent a lovely afternoon with Patti and Michele at the Brown Palace in Denver for tea. Along with our tea, we sampled delicious sandwiches, scones and desserts. Plus, I was able to spend some time catching up with two of my favorite girls. Thank you, my friends!
